Through her workshops, Victoria shares her passion for botanical color and its application to fiber, while fostering environmental stewardship and sustainable practice.
History:
Born to a Mauritian mother and Australian father, Victoria grew up in California with a deep connection to the outdoors ~ the ocean, the mountains, and the forests ~ and was raised to respect and care for her environment and its biodiversity. She spent her time hiking, exploring, rock climbing, camping, and surfing, immersed in and enchanted by each landscape.
Her early creativity in art and sewing led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Art in Fashion Design at the Art Institute of California, with the intention of working in the outdoor apparel industry. Soon after, Victoria felt called toward sustainable design and slow fashion, recognizing that healthy ecosystems and supply chains are essential to regenerating the earth. She has since dedicated her work to supporting the restoration and resilience of nature’s dynamic systems.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology & Biodiversity in Sydney in 2025, where studying within Australia’s remarkably diverse ecosystems deepened her love of the natural world through scientific rigor and field experience. She forages, cultivates, and thoughtfully gathers many of the dye plants she works with, weaving this hands-on knowledge into both her workshops and her boutique designs.
Victoria is currently based in California.
